HOPEWELL CTE PROGRAMS - Addressing Purpose, Performance, and Preparation
We are committed to laying the foundations for students to successfully transition from high school to one or more of the three E's (Education, Employment, and/or Enlistment). Our aim is to help students develop their purpose through career exploration, excel by performing in skill-based and problem-solving activities so that they will exit high school confident and prepared. Hopewell City Public Schools offers over 60 career and technical education programs/courses, and opportunities to earn college credits, industry-recognized credentials, and work experience while still in high school. Annual notice to enrolled high school students and their parents of (i) the availability of the post-secondary education and employment data published by SCHEV on its website pursuant to Section 23.1-204 of the Code of Virginia and (ii) the opportunity for such students to obtain a nationally recognized career readiness certificate at a local public high school, community college, or workforce center.CONTACT US
