- IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR THE EXAM, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP AGAIN!
- Hopewell High School will offer an opportunity for students to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) on Oct. 20th, Dec. 15th, and Mar. 9th. The test is optional for students but highly encouraged.
- The ASVAB test is a multiple-aptitude test that is set up to test a student’s knowledge in eight areas including: general science, arithmetic reasoning, word knowledge, paragraph comprehension, mathematics knowledge, electronics information, auto, and shop information, and mechanical comprehension. The test battery enables students to evaluate their skills, estimate their performance in academic and vocational endeavors, and identify potentially satisfying careers. The information received from the test is only for the student’s benefit and will not be shared with military recruiters unless the student indicates that he/she is interested in the military.
If you would like to take the ASVAB test please email your school counselor or JROTC to get signed up for one of the following dates:
