CLUB DESCRIPTION
| The National Honor Society bestows the privilege of membership upon students who have a GPA of 3.5 and who demonstrate outstanding character, leadership, and community service. The selection process is done in the fall of the school year. Students must attend HHS one semester in order to be eligible for membership. The chapter is available to civic organizations within the community that need volunteers to work. In the past, NHS has volunteered at Dupont Elementary and Patrick Copeland Elementary PTO's, sponsored the Salvation Army Angel Tree at HHS, and worked with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program and the Appomattox Regional Library Tutoring Program. |
